Review by hotel critic
Areela in Tirana is a hidden gem worth considering for your travels. As a history teacher, I appreciate the charm and character this hotel brings, blending style with comfort. The decor is beautiful and the rooms are adequately sized, providing both serenity and an inviting atmosphere. The value proposition is clear-while it's not the cheapest option, the quality of your experience makes it worthwhile. The beds are really comfortable, ensuring a restful night, and the soundproofed rooms block any outside disturbances, which I found quite important after long days of exploring historical sights. The included breakfast is hearty; perfect for fueling my long bus ride to Gjirokaster. You'll also appreciate the reserved parking, a true luxury considering Tirana's bustling streets. The staff, particularly Jona and Zaltin, were accommodating, making my stay even more pleasant. In essence, the Areela offers a balance of luxury and value that aligns well with discerning travelers looking for a comfortable stay in a culturally rich environment.
